MELLO TEAM / THE DETAILS

Terms of use.

The terms for using Mello Team, the Mello website and Mello Cloud.

Draft · subject to review before publication

1. The service

Mello Team is a desktop application that can work with local projects and AI models. Mello Cloud provides hosted model access and, where enabled, a relay between the website and your open desktop app. Features, availability and supported devices may change.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Some features require a verified account. Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and should contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your projects and instructions

You retain your rights in your projects and content. You authorize Mello to process the instructions, files and other information you choose to provide for the purpose of carrying out your requests. You must have the necessary permissions to use the content and connected services.

4. Agent actions and approvals

Agents may read and edit files, run commands and use enabled tools within your selected settings. Commands can affect your computer or connected services. Review proposed actions when approval is requested and check results before relying on them. Keep backups of important work.

5. AI output

AI-generated answers and code can be inaccurate, incomplete, insecure or unsuitable for your use. You are responsible for reviewing and testing output and for decisions made using it. Similar requests may produce similar output for different users.

6. Cloud access and limits

Cloud access requires an eligible account. Usage allowances and service capacity may limit or delay requests. When a limit is reached, wait for it to reset or use an available local model. The desktop app must be open and website tasks enabled to receive remote work.

Paid subscription terms, prices, billing, cancellation and renewal terms will be provided before any purchase becomes available.

7. Third-party tools and services

Model providers, authentication, hosting, plugins and connected services may have their own terms and privacy practices. You choose which available integrations to enable and are responsible for permissions and accounts you connect.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Mello to access systems or data without authorization, violate applicable law or others’ rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, evade access controls or abuse shared capacity. We may restrict Cloud access to address abuse, security issues or service operation.

9. Availability and changes

Services may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, provider outages or other reasons. Features and limits may change. We will communicate material changes where required by law or applicable purchase terms.

10. Ending use

You may stop using the service and uninstall the desktop app. Uninstalling or signing out does not necessarily delete cloud account records, remote task data, backups or copies of content in other services. Use available account and data controls or contact the operator to request assistance.

11. Responsibility and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. Any warranty, liability, dispute and governing-law terms remain subject to applicable mandatory law.
